My photography

At Rusted Rails Productions, I specialize in capturing breathtaking aerial, stunning landscape, and unique portrait railroad photography. My goal is to photograph a wide variety of images showcasing the majestic beauty of wide gauge diesel-electric and steam locomotives operating across class 1, class 2, and class 3 railroads. From time to time, I also focus on documenting industrial infrastructure, whether it’s active, bustling with life, or abandoned and steeped in history. Additionally, I occasionally take on custom model railroading projects as a side endeavor, creating intricate and detailed models whenever I can find the time to dedicate to the craft.

Stories in Every Shot

Rusted Rails Productions is a personal hobby photography project based out around Pittsburgh, Johnstown, and Altoona, PA, as well as Cumberland, MD.  My ultimate goal is to capture and showcase the unique beauty of nature and explore how it blends with the rusty aura and haunting decay of railroad infrastructure scattered across Pennsylvania and other surrounding states. Many of my photos are thoughtfully paired with the personal stories of how I got into trains, along with moments when I find myself reminiscing about what used to be. These stories often reflect on how so many railroad related places, businesses, and other infrastructure have now faded into history, becoming cherished memories for me and countless others who share a deep appreciation for this forgotten era as well as the current era we live in.
